My dear friend,
I’m writing a letter to you to express my most heartfelt gratitude for what you have done on my behalf. Perhaps it seems to be no big deal but a very simple favor in other person’s view, I do appreciate it and be willing to say “thank you” towards you sincerely nevertheless.
Memories of the winter holiday last year came flooding back. That was my first time going back home by train so far away from home. What’s worse, a rare terrible snow disaster attacked my hometown. Therefore, when I reached the railway station at 5p.m, it was almost dark and no bus available. Standing in the freezing and chilly street, I felt so helpless and tears filled up with my eyes. Then I called you and you asked me to go to your dormitory without a second thought. My dear friend, did you know how moved I was when I saw you with a muffler in your hand for me? Besides, you took my luggage and bought me a bowl of noodles in the restaurant.
A friend in need is a friend indeed. It was you who gave me a favor when I suffered from such a bad situation. I’ll never forget about it. Although we are far from each other now, I’m
looking forward to seeing you this winter holiday. Let’s always keep in touch with each other.

I am so happy that we meet in this class. I don’t know who you are and you don’t know who I am .But it doesn’t matter. Because the destiny makes us together.
We meet in 2009.You were shy and I was nervous then. We were afraid of talking to each other. But just after several days. We became closer and we talked everything that were in our mind.
After the military training, we all became more mature. We didn’t cry any more. We almost did everything by ourselves. We helped each other and never laughed at anyone. We felt really happy then.
Do you remember on our last Children’s Day? We did a really meaningful thing to remember the special day –weed. That day we all felt very tired, but also pleased with what we do. And we would remember that day in the future.
Do you remember our first sports meeting? We did so well in it. On the opening ceremony, we made everyone surprised. Although we didn’t win the first place at last, we became more unitive. And we knew each other batter.
Do you remember the Christmas Party? We did everything about it by ourselves. We chose presenter and decided what to act. We invited parents and teachers to our party. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and we were proud of ourselves.
There are many events of our school lives. I can’t count one by one. But I think we all remember everything. At least, I have never forgotten anything.
Thanks for everyone in our class. Because of you I know what friendship is. Because of you, I never stray too far from the sidewalk. Because of you, I never afraid of anything. Because of you, I’ve learned how to love.

Nice to meet you in my university, Tianjin University.In Chinese culture, meeting somebody is just by lot, by accident. So it’s very lucky for me to get acquainted with you in your concert.
You know, when learning English, I think the most difficult thing is to use appropriate words in different situation. So maybe this letter and our conversation tonight, my words is probably impolite. So I’m asking for your forgiveness.
Yep, I think you like smile very much. Well , in Chinese culture we can know somebody by some very little details. We have a idiom called “知微见著” for this meaning. So a smiling girl means that she love her life and she is very optimistic. Maybe music and violin bring you this.
Speak of music,I think a violinist must like classical music, don’t you? Well, besides classical music, I also like some lightly rock&roll music. Do you know Green Day? I like this band very much. I like their 21 Guns , Wake Me up When September Ends most. I suggest you have a try, very nice. I think different kinds of music has its unique colors. Classical music’s color , I think , is blue and white. Just imagine that you live in a white house by the sea. Do you feel the peace classical music bring you? The jazz’s color is green. Because it’s very active just like exuberant life.The rock music , well, in my opinion , its color is white and black. Maybe only this two colors can represent for the intense emotion in
rock.
