Trip to Suzhou

Nothing can defeat you if you never give up.

The story is told by my best friend Jack. Half month ago ,Jack and several of his best friends had a visit to Suzhou ,Zhejiang province .They were not just a travel but take part in activities with primary school pupil from Qingdao .

About twelve hour’s travel ,they finally arrived there .After breakfast ,they began their activity .Each of them university students must accompany more than one pupil and they should help the pupil sell one bottle of water the highest price as they can .Besides ,the university students also have to sell a tin of beer to the highest price .

Both the water and beer were brought from Qingdao.

May 2nd ,as we all know ,the temperature is very high in south China .Firstly, they waited for bus with the big sun for half an hour .At the moment ,the pupil began to be inpatient .They have to try ways to make the pupils calm down .Finally the bus was coming ,but it was too crowd .When they got to the destination ,there were so many troops like them .How can we sell our water and beer ?Sellers are more than consumers ,it’s a big

problem .

Jack and his pupil partner Jim began selling their goods .Firstly, they went to an old couple, “excuse me, do you need water and beer?” “What water and beer?””The water and beer we brought from Qingdao Shandong province.” “Oh, really? How much?” “A bottle of water, at least 5 Yuan .And beer at least 10 Yuan.” “Oh, no, it’s too expensive, we can’t do it.” “But we can’t cut price.” “Sorry, we have something to do and we have to go.”

At the moment, a pair of youth people was coming, they went to them.” “Excuse me; do you need water and beer?” “Sorry, we have water and we don’t need any beer.” “But …..” Not until Jim finished his words, the youth had gone away.

After countless tries, they still didn’t sell them out. Jim cried, “I can’t sell it out and I didn’t want to sell it any more .I want to go home .I miss my mother.” “Oh, no, you can’t do it. Jim, you are boy and you’ll be a man .Man should be responsible and nothing will make man give up .Do you want to be a true man? So let’s have a try again, I believe you!” Jim stood up and wipe his tear, said, “Yes, I can do it!”

“Draw lessons from the experience before, we should sell them by a new way. So we can sell it to foreigners.”

They went to a young foreigner, said, “welcome to Xi tang. And do you need water and beer?” “Beer? What beer?” “Oh, as you can see, it was

made in Qingdao, Shandong province .And we brought it here .So it’s very valuable.” “Oh, Qingdao, it’s a very beautiful city .I know it. Yes Qingdao has lots of beer.” “So you want to buy it?” “Oh, how much?” “At least 10 Yuan.” “10 Yuan? A little expensive.” “You may buy it 4 or 5 Yuan in Qingdao ,but now we are in Suzhou . It’s too far away.” “Ok, I’ll buy it with 20 Yuan, because I like Qingdao.” “Than you very much!”

After a little minute, Jim also selled out his water by this way.

So never give up when you face with difficulty .Nothing can prevent us to be successful .

The way to choose employees

How do the business employers judge the qualifications of potential employees? One kind of view is that “When judging the qualifications of potential employees, business employers should rely solely on objective information. Personal interviews are much too subjective and are therefore not a valid basis on which to judge a person’s

qualifications for a job.” However is it totally true? What is the most reasonable way to choose people the enterprise want? Here are my opinions.

First of all, we have to realize that enterprise recruits staff can't simply read resume or face-to- face communication. Enterprise can not only look at resume, but also by the interview. Enterprise only clearly understands who you are and what you lack of and then you can find the employees for their development of business. The test in an interview is an essential important link.

Recruitment testing generally should be divided into interview, knowledge

examination, psychological testing, operation technology assessment and

qualifications review. Interview is the most common method in recruitment activities. According to an interview form and purpose, interview can be divided into many types. Such as structural interview, unstructured interview, general interview, professional skills interview, etc. Interview has many advantages, such as strong adaptability, can two-way communication, can multi-channel to get candidate's

information. The great drawback to interview is not easy quantification and there may be various prejudices.

Knowledge test is another common method in recruitment activities. Knowledge examination refers to through the paper and pencil tests of the candidates in the form of knowledge breadth, depth of knowledge and understanding of the knowledge structure of a way. The purpose of a test is mainly about knowing the width of the candidate's knowledge, the extent of the candidate of professional knowledge and application level.

There is a misconception that qualifications equal to the ability society are wearing tinted glasses for this. From a recruitment perspective, basically large enterprises to recruit staff as sales people first are a college education. Education is a stepping stone, no diploma the interviewer is seeing you, let alone gives you the opportunity. Most people basically thought pattern is that it looks like: qualifications equal to knowledge, knowledge is equal to capacity, no qualifications equal to no knowledge, no ability.

Degree does not necessarily have the knowledge, there is no academic qualifications may not necessarily illiterate, the key only to personal learning and efforts.

Higher education can only prove one o'clock-the person subjected to formal education, systematic learning conditions and a good learning environment. But this man how much knowledge learned in school is not a degree proves that academic achievement also has good and bad points.

Edison didn't finish even primary schools, who would dare to say that Edison has no culture, no knowledge? Mao attended the University, but to comment on China's first great man of the century who can match. Bill Gates didn't finish college, but no one

dare say that Gates is not knowledge, and who would dare to say that biracial more money. Knowledge does not come from the universities, especially not from paper qualifications, but from the study. If it does not have the power and capacity of learning, even in the Beijing University, Tsinghua University and how?

I liked the party's "three represents" a noun – in the times. It is more instructive for our employees: suitable for short term experience may not in the future have been through, to not be eliminated by the market, we must continue to learn, with the times, continuous adjustment, seize the opportunity. Look at our students ' textbooks, something many decades ago. How can it talk about keeping pace with it? Knowledge and ability are two different things. Literate people will of course

consider more comprehensive than illiterate, analyze issues more thoroughly, but a lot of times people who have cultural things like dumplings in a teapot – goods not out, only that it will not do. Theory and practice are far away.

Enterprises recruiting employees is the core to achieve insight into the candidates, read resumes or face-to-face exchanges are just two different ways.

Enterprise staff recruitment core is to do in-depth understanding of applicant, read your resume or face to face communication is just two different ways it.

篇三:英文澳大利亚游记

Eric Wang

Ms.Wycoff

Writing lab Feb.1st.2016 The experience in Australia In my summer holiday,I had been to Australia with my uncle Wang, This is an ancient city, and meanwhile a beautiful ‘garden city’, streets are orderly paved like chessboard, various buildings of both ancient and modern styles are harmoniously blended, there are quite a few operas and Broadway musicals on show here everyday. This is also Australia’s residential center for immigrants. Most of the immigrants who flocked into Australia live in Melbourne and Sydney. Immigrants started their new life here but keep their own traditions and customs. Wanna taste Italian food and drinks? Just go to Lygon street. Wanna know Chinese culture? Then visit China Town. In China Town, there are not only Chinese restaurants, but also Malaysian, Thailand and Japanese restaurants, so this is not just a window for you to get to know Chinese people, but a best place to know East Asian people and South East Asian people as well. Goods sold in China Town are quite unique. You’ll embrace a variety of choices and also reasonable prices, that’s why China Town is so popular among tourists. My companions all came back with large and small shopping bags, and reluctant to leave until they bought too much to carry.

What worth mention, traveling in Melbourne, the most forgettable experience is to watch the homing of the smallest penguins in the world. In a place 140 kilometers south of

Melbourne, there’s a tiny island called Philip. Every dusk, groups of penguins stagger back to their home. Their teeter when stepping onto the bank is extremely lovely.
