There was once an ant that was very thirsty.

It ran here and there looking for some water but could not find any.

互联网环境下的大学英语教学

【摘 要】在计算机技术飞速发展,信息获取渠道多元化的今天,大学英语教学模式的改革势在必行,通过建立校内自主学习平台,注册网上慕课等形式,实现翻转课堂,帮助学生达到语言学习的目的。

互联网始于1969年的美国,互联网技术自发明以来已经走过了40多个年头,互联网用户在我国得到空前扩张。互联网从本质上来看就是一个能够相互交流沟通,相互参与的互动平台。它具有不受时间空间的限制,信息量大,快,信息呈现方式多样,兼具互动性等明显的优点。这一平台的出现,给大学英语学习带来了学习模式的重大变革。

1 大学英语教学现状

大学英语教学顺应时代发展,一直在进行教学新方法的尝试。笔者所在的三峡大学进行了大小班分开教学的尝试,大班进行读写译教学,每周两学时,小班进行口语教学,也是每周两学时。经过几年的尝试,学生英语水平得到了很大提高,彻底改变了哑巴英语的落后局面,学生的口语交际能力逐步提高。作为大学英语教学的评价杠杆的四六级考试通级率也从不及格逐步递升到目前的75%。虽然成绩提高了,但学生上课的热情却出现下降的趋势,老师上课只能通过严格考勤制度,严格平时成绩的方式实现督促学生学习英语的目的。一部分同学上课手机不离手,一直上网浏览自己感兴趣的东西。

2 如何利用互联网促进英语教学

充分利用互联网的优点,推广自主学习模式。自主学习是建构主义思想的核心。建构主义的思想来源于认知加工学说,以及维果斯基、皮亚杰和布鲁纳等人的思想。建构主义者强调学习的主动性、社会性和情境性,对学习和教学提出了许多新的见解,主要有:

由于事物的意义并非完全独立于我们而存在,而是源于我们的建构,每个人都以自己的方式理解事物的某些方面,教学要增进学生之间的合作,使学生看到那些与他不同的观点的基础。因此,合作学习(cooperative learning)受到建构主义者的广泛重视。这些思想是与维果斯基对于社会交往在儿童心理发展中的作用的重视的思想相一致的。学习者以自己的方式建构对于事物的理解,从而不同的人看到的是事物的不同的方面,不存在唯一的标准的理解,通过学习者的合作使理解更加丰富和全面。 教学不能无视学习者的已有知识经验,简单强硬地从外部对学习者实施知识的“填灌”,而是应当把学习者原有的知识经验作为新知识的生长点,引导学习者从原有的知识经验中,生长新的知识经验。这一思想与维果斯基的“最近发展区”的思
