本节的主要目的教学是对图形的初步认识,内容比较简单。

首先呈现生活中的一些物体,要求学生能从中―发现‖熟悉的几何体,教师可以根据当地的实际,选择其它的实物进行教学。进一步通过投影展示掌握基本的立体图形。鼓励学生用自己的语言描述它们的有关特征,不要求数学上的严格表述,如果时间允许,可以让学生从一堆立体模型中摸出某种几何体,边摸边用自己的语言进行描述,以丰富学生的活动经验。

2.几何图形是怎么得的?

二、观察思考

1.使学生了解组成几何图形的基本元素是点、线、面,并能有一初步认识.

(1)首先教师准备一些教具,如长方体、圆柱体、足球以及要求学生所作的纸盒(不必粘合)

教师手拿没有粘合或长方体纸盒的剪好的纸片做演示.说明,如何折过来就可得到一个长方体纸盒.

教师问学生,这个纸盒是什么形状?

答:是长方体.

(2)再带领学生看纸盒,问它是由什么图形围起来的?

学生答出由许多长方形围起来的.

教师说明包围体的这些长方形称为面,都是平的.圆柱有两个底面,也都是平的,一个侧面,是曲的.球有一个面,也是曲的.

(3)再看纸盒,问两个面之间交接的地方是什么图形呢?

学生答出是线(小学时学生学过直线,所以他们可能答是直线.教师说明,现在我们只叫它线.至于叫什么线,以后再说)

教师再问,这个长方体上有多少条线?

学生答出有12条.

教师讲清,面和面相交接的地方形成线,长方形中的线是直的.圆柱两个底面与侧面交接处,形成两条线,是曲的.

(4)再看纸盒.问两条线相交的地方是什么图形呢?

学生答出是点.

教师说明,线与线相交成点,点无大小.

小结一下,且写在黑板上

体由面围成,面有平的和曲的之分.

三、一起探究

师:观察动画(将三角形绕直角边旋转转成圆锥)

就这个旋转过程,引导学生思考下面的问题:

3.三角尺的面,经运动形成了一个怎样的图形?
